The International Society of Polygraph Examiners (ISOPE) has adopted a Resolution in
connection with the military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. It states that ISOPE condemns the insidious and absolutely shameful military attack of the Russian Federation, which it carried out on Ukraine on February 24, 2022. ISOPE particularly condemns attacks on civilians.
The whole world has been repelling these actions by imposing sanctions on the citizens of the Russian Federation and providing financial assistance to Ukraine. The International Society of Polygraph Examiners joins Ukraine’s global support and restricts the participation of the citizens of the Russian Federation in the International Society of Polygraph Examiners, suspending their membership in 2022 since the promulgation of this resolution, temporarily removing them from the ISOPE register and not admitting new members ‒ the citizens of the Russian Federation before settling this issue.
The Resolution signed by the President of the International Society of Polygraph Examiners (ISOPE), Prof. Eva Lukogeorgaki, also urges the society members to demonstrate their official position on peace, the renunciation of war on personal pages of social media.
It is noteworthy that ISOPE has members from more than 25 countries.
